For 1st Year : The candidate should be passed in 10+2 examination with 45% marks (42.75% for SC candidate of Haryana) from recognised board/University with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one out of Chemistry/Bio-technology/Computer Science/Biology.

For Lateral entry to 2nd year (LEET) – 20% of Sanctioned intake : Candidate should have passed 3 years. Polytechnic diploma/ B.Sc. with 45% marks (42.75% for SC Candidate of Haryana) from recognized Board/University.
